To celebrate 100 years since the Bauhaus art school was founded, Junghans have released this Junghans Max Bill Chronoscope 100 Jahre Bauhaus Limited Edition watch. As a way of honouring the teachings and approach to design that the German school was famous for, Junghans have combined this gorgeous limited edition with an interplay of form and colour alongside a crisp white dial that mirrors the exteriors of the white walls of the Bauhaus building and a red date display to represent the familiar red entrance.

The crisp white gloss dial of this Junghans Max Bill Chronoscope 100 Jahre Bauhaus Limited Edition watch is decorated with a painted minute track and hands coated with an environmentally friendly luminous substance to make low light visibility effortless. As well as being fitted with scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective treatment, the 40mm stainless steel PVD coated case of this Junghans watch is equipped with a grey calfskin leather strap and matching steel PVD plated pin buckle. Housed within the case is the German made self-winding J800.2 calibre which equips the watch with hour, minute and seconds function, a date window at 3 o clock and a power reserve of 38 hours. The automatic movement can also be seen through a very special case back which has been styled like the historical and world famous window facade of the Bahaus building to allowing you a glimpse of the fascinating calibre at work.
