For fitting to an externally threaded Tap:

The Pressure Reducer simply screws onto a ¾ inch / 19mm screw threaded tap.

 
If your tap is a different size - ½ inch (13mm) or 5/8 inch - you will need to purchase a set of reducing adapters (available separately, product code - TTTC1) to fit into the top of the Pressure Reducer prior to fitting to the tap.

Fitting the ¼ inch / 6mm Tube:
At the base of the Pressure Reducer, just unscrew the retaining cap and slip onto the ¼ inch / 6mm tube.
Push the ¼ inch / 6mm tube onto the barbed fitting and screw the retaining cap back onto the Pressure Reducer, this locks the tube securely in place.

Water Filter - within the Pressure Reducer is a stainless steel water filter to prevent any small particles getting into the watering system and blocking the tube or nozzles. The filter is easily accessible for simple cleaning. 

The low water pressure used with the Tropf Blumat system allows slow, dosed dripping and helps to ensure your plants receive air warmed water only.
